The top academic achievers between Grade 9 and 11 at Merensky High School were treated tofive days in the city as reward for their outstanding contributions to their studies. The thirty pupils, who boarded the annual Top 10 tourbus left for Johannesburg and Pretoria on the 26th of April and returned on Sunday, the 30th.
During their tour the group visited the Voortrekker Monument and the Pretoria Botanical Gardens. They also spent the day at Gold Reef City and the Bounce trampoline park at Menlyn Maine. The highlight of their visit was the stge production “The Play that Goes Wrong” which they enjoyed at the Pieter Toerien Theatre at Monte Casino.
