Unicorn recently started their athletics year with a well-attended Inter-house meet on their home track. The athletes all enjoyed a day away from their desks and were egged on by the boisterous crowds under the command of some of the most colourful cheerleading squads. The Inter-house meeting is used as a platform to identify talent for the teams who will represent their school during the season. A number of Unicorn athletes participated in the Circuit championships last week and have made it through to the Limpopo trials.
The houses which participated in the Inter-house meeting were Pegasus, Aquila and Leo. “Thank you to all the learners who attended and made this day a huge success for everyone. We are proud of you,” said Michelle Lotriet of Unicorn Primary.
